History

A.W. Hooker Associates Ltd., founded in 1975 by Arthur William Hooker, provides excellence in independent quantity surveying and cost consulting services from an experienced and talented team of professional consultants. The firm is comprised of dedicated multi-discipline quantity surveyors/ cost consultants, based at the firm’s corporate offices located in Oakville, Ontario.

Members of the A.W. Hooker team have consulted in projects located throughout Ontario and across Canada, as well as a variety of projects worldwide. The success and growth of the firm is due to the experienced people, their dedication and commitment to excellence, and the hands-on involvement and leadership of the management team.

Each of the senior quantity surveyors with A.W. Hooker either possess the Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) or Construction Estimator Certified (CEC) designation. The team has extensive experience across all the major sectors of facilities under construction, and have provided a range of services at all points of the design and construction stages. A.W. Hooker is trusted by some of the largest public and private organizations with consulting on their most important projects.
