Glenn Hultzer

Glenn Hultzer is the President and CEO of A.W. Hooker Associates Ltd., he is also the current President of the Canadian Association of Consulting Quantity Surveyors (CACQS), bringing over 30 years of professional consulting Quantity Surveying experience. Originally from South Africa where he obtained his B.Sc degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Cape Town and worked for 10 years in South Africa before moving to the USA and then to Saudi Arabia for two years each, before spending 6 years in Dubai, prior to emigrating to Canada in 2010.
Glenn has seen the full life cycle of various types of construction, from sport stadiums, office buildings, retail malls, mid and high rise residential, district cooling plants and since being in Canada has worked in a multitude of sectors, from education, heritage restoration, rail infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, long term care, housing, energy and sustainability retrofits and studies. Glenn is a lead Architectural estimating Principal at AW Hooker. He also leads the loan monitoring division and has undertaken many expert witness assignments. Glenn has an appreciation for how Quantity Surveyors can add value in the Canadian market and would like to see our profession utilized more by educating Owners and Clients of our capabilities and expertise.

In Glenn's spare time you'll catch him cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and the South African Springboks Rugby Team.
