This project consists of a new interim Life Community Church located at 10 Vice Regent Boulevard in Etobicoke, Ontario. The pre-engineered steel framed and clad building includes a high-volume Sanctuary/Multi-Purpose room, surrounding program and support spaces, together with a second-floor mezzanine area of program and support space. The approximate gross floor area of new construction is 1,560 square meters (16,792 square feet).
The project also includes site development associated with the proposed building location including new hard surfaces, soft landscaped areas, site improvements and the municipal site services and connections for the building.
The project received 5 compliant bids from the prequalified general contractors with a spread of +/- $1.4M. AW Hooker’s Class A estimate was 1.3% higher than the lowest (awarded) bidder.
