Cooksville GO Station

The Project is part of 25 year integrated land use and transportation plan for creating an integrated regional transit and transportation network for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. The purpose of the Project is to design and construct infrastructure upgrades required at Cooksville GO Station, to accommodate planned expansion of GO rail services.  The projected included a new 1500 space parking garage, a pedestrian bridge over the tracks, upgrades to two existing tunnels under the tracks, provision of handicapped accessibility throughout, a new station building and east pavilion, rebuilding of  existing surface parking lots and bike parking facilities.  Two Interim Completion Certificates June 2019 and December 2019.  Substantial Completion August 2020.  Final Completion July 2021.  Three dispute determinations provided.
